A man in his 30s suffered non-life-threatening injuries when he was stabbed in Toronto’s Mt. Dennis neighbourhood early Friday morning.

The man was stabbed sometime before 3 a.m. Friday, near the intersection of Weston Road and Barr Avenue.

A small pool of blood could be seen on the sidewalk near 1080 Weston Road. A Staff Sgt. from Toronto police 12 Division said officers are still on the scene conducting an investigation. No suspect information has been released.

Toronto paramedics said they transported the man to a local hospital for treatment.
