One man was killed and two others were injured after a vehicle collided with a TTC bus in L'Amoreaux this morning.

According to police, at around 6:30 a.m., a 52-year-old woman was driving a red Nissan southbound on Warden Avenue in the area of Finch Avenue East when she collided with a TTC bus.

A 26-year-old male passenger of the Nissan was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Nissan and one other male passenger were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

No one from the TTC bus was injured.

TTC spokesperson Brad Ross said he believes the bus was stopped at the time of the crash.

"Certainly our condolences to the family and friends of the young individual who was so tragically killed," Ross told CP24 Tuesday.

"The investigation is in the very early stages right now."

Police are investigating whether the injured parties were wearing seatbelts.

Warden Avenue was closed in both directions at Finch Avenue but the road has since reopened.
