Police have formally identified the two men killed in a shooting at an after-hours club near Kensington Market on Friday morning.

It happened inside the second-floor club on College Street at Augusta Avenue at around 5:10 a.m.

In a news release issued on Saturday, police confirmed that 42-year-old Justin Andrew Bokma was pronounced dead on scene and that 41-year-old LeFranc Matthews was rushed to hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Police also said that two other people, a 45-year-old man and a 34-year-old man, made their own way to hospital where they were treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Friends previously told CP24 that Bokma was a former professional skateboarder that may have been working as a bouncer at the club.

Meanwhile, a Go Fund Me page that was set up for Matthews on Friday identified him as a "loving father & an amazing human being full of joy & laughter."

No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting so far. Police have said that they are looking for two to three male suspects who were seen leaving the club on foot.
