Toronto Police are appealing for witnesses after they say a man kicked Canadian flags planted in the ground as he jogged near services at Sunnybrook Hospital on Remembrance Day.

Several small Canadian flags had been planted in the ground at a cenotaph near Sunnybrook Hospital on Bayview Street Nov. 11. Police say a man came jogging by around 2:30 p.m., kicking the flags down as he ran.

Police said Wednesday they had launched a mischief investigation into the incident.

A photo of the suspect captured by bystanders showed a bald man standing between 5’9” and 5’11”, weighing about 175 pounds.
