Durham police are looking for a 28-year-old man in connection with a stabbing and collision in Oshawa earlier this week.

According to police, the incident began in a parking lot near Grandview Street and Ridge Valley Drive on Tuesday afternoon.

A grey Mazda sedan collided with an SUV, police said. The driver of the Mazda then got into a physical altercation with the SUV driver and allegedly stabbed him with a knife.

Police said the Mazda driver fled the area, but the other driver followed him. At some point, the suspect forced the victim off the roadway into a fire hydrant.
