PICTON, Ont. -- Two teenagers have been arrested and charged in connection with vandalism at a cemetery in Picton, Ont., last month.

Provincial police say at about 8:30 p.m. on June 20, someone entered the cemetery and vandalized numerous gravestones and monuments.

Police the extent of the damage is undetermined at this point but is estimated to be in the thousands of dollars.

Two suspects were arrested this week by Prince Edward County OPP following a month-long investigation -- a 15-year-old male from Kingston and 17-year-old male from Picton.

Both are scheduled to appear in a Picton court on Aug. 20 on a charge of mischief over $5,000.
