TORONTO - A so called "flash mob" choir that recently performed at a food court in Welland, Ontario has a huge YouTube hit on its hands.

The 80 member Chorus Niagara showed up at the Seaway Mall in November and spontaneously serenaded surprised shoppers with a rendition of the Christmas carol "Hallelujah."

Now, seven weeks after the video was uploaded, it's has more than 25.7 million views and is rated the Number One Most Viewed.

That's a YouTube record for hits.

Other flash mob performances uploaded to YouTube have taken months to reach that mark.

Alphabet Photography, based in Niagara Falls, came up with the idea of the flash mob chorus for a Christmas video card to send to clients.
