Police say they will be reviewing surveillance video after a high-profile Yorkville jewellery store was robbed in broad daylight on Wednesday afternoon.
Const. Tony Vella says they received at call at 2:48 p.m. for a robbery at the Cartier store on Bloor Street, near Bay Street and Avenue Road.
Cruisers are parked outside the store, as police continue to investigate at the scene. A gun and disguises were found near the Museum subway station entrance.
Jason Monaco, a customer who came to pick up his watch at the store, says he was very surprised by what happened.
