TTC email alerts warn riders of delays

Toronto commuters now have a new tool to battle delays on the Red Rocket.

The TTC launched an email alert system Wednesday which it says will inform riders of subway and rail transit delays.

There are no alerts for bus and streetcar delays, but plans to expand the service to include those routes are in the works.

People who want to use the service can sign up for it on the TTC's website.
