Mika Midolo is Traffic and Transit Specialist for CP24 BREAKFAST, helping GTA commuters navigate the morning commute and beat delays with accurate and regular updates. She is also a weather specialist for CP24 on weekdays.
Prior to joining CP24, Midolo was the most recognizable voice and face of the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC). For almost a decade, Midolo updated any delays on trains and buses for CP24, CityTV, and 680 News.
Giving back is important to Midolo, who hosts “For Goodness Sake”, a weekly segment on CP24 BREAKFAST connecting viewers with charities and fundraisers in the city. She hosts and participates in events all over the GTA and never tires of hearing from viewers that they love to watch CP24 and CP24 BREAKFAST.
Midolo is actively involved with the Dream Makers Wish Foundation and helps dreams take flight as the CP24 chaperonefor the annual Dream Take Flight in Toronto. She has taken an active role in the Princess Margaret Hospital Weekend To End Breast Cancer, acting as a CP24 Team co-captain. Midolo is also proud to host the Canada Day Celebrations for the City of Pickering each year.
Midolo is multilingual, able to speak English, French, Albanian, and Italian. In 2011, the proud member of the Albanian Community of Toronto accepted the Outstanding Albanian Female of the Year Award. Midolo is honoured to support the Pickering Public Library, and as a former Board member, continues to actively participate in Pickering Library events.
Midoloearned her media training at Toronto’s Humber College, where she graduated with an Honours Degree in Journalism. An avid Zumba aficionado, Midolo teaches Pilates and is a certified PIO instructor. Midolo is a proud supporter of Pickering, where she lives with her husband and two sons.
