GODERICH, Ont. - A 44-year-old Kitchener, Ont., man is dead after his motocross bike ran into a tree on a track outside Goderich, Ont., on Saturday.
Provincial police say Peter Zandersons lost control of his Honda bike while driving on the Walton Raceway near the southwestern Ontario town.
Zandersons was wearing a helmet and protective gear but was not racing in a scheduled motocross event when the crash occured.
He died on the scene.
The investigation continues. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
