A seasoned musician, to spark some nostalgia in the audience, and a modern superstar who’s sure to delight two-stepping country fans, along with three tribute acts that will have you singing along to classic hits will all be taking the stage at Casino Rama Resort this spring.
Canadian legendary singer-songwriter Paul Anka, known for writing hits for big names like Frank Sinatra’s “My Way” and Tom Jones’ “She’s A Lady,” and his own hits like, “Diana” and “Put Your Head On My Shoulder” will be hitting the stage. Anka is originally from Ottawa and is 84 years old. He will be performing on April 10 at 9 p.m.
And American country singer Scott McCreery who got his start on the reality singing competition show American Idol will also be taking the stage. McCreery won American Idol in the 10th season of the show, May 2011. He has won multiple awards including New Artist of the Year in the Academy of Country Music Awards and American Country Music Awards. He’s known for hits like “Five More Minutes,” “This Is It” and even a collaboration with Hootie & the Blowfish, “Bottle Rockets.” McCreery’s set is happening on April 25.
In addition to those stars, the resort will be celebrating iconic music legends with tribute acts for Prince, Bon Jovi and Queen.
Get ready to sing along to songs like “Kiss,” “Little Red Corvette” and “1999” as Prince Again, out of Los Angeles, will hit the stage. According to the tribute band’s website, the concert experience is a “full-fledged party that immerses audiences in the energy, spirit and artistry of Prince.” Prince, who pioneered the Minneapolis sound, a sub-genre of funk rock, has sold over 100 million records around the world, making him one of the best-selling artists of all time. The concert is on March 22 at 7 p.m.
WANTED: The Music of BON JOVI is America’s number one tribute band who performs music of Bon Jovi. Also a tribute band out of Los Angeles, the band consists of the music scenes top musicians. Audiences can expect to hear hits like “You Give Love a Bad Name,” “Livin’ On A Prayer” and “It’s My Life.” This show will be on March 29 at 7 p.m.
Finally, Queen It’s A Kinda Magic is bringing audience’s Queen’s rock anthems like Bohemian Rhapsody, “We Are the Champions,” “Don’t Stop Me Now” and “We Will Rock You.” Warren Vaernon-Driscoll, a classically trained vocalist and musician will play the iconic Freddie Mercury. The tribute band will take the stage on April 11.
For Paul Anka, ticket prices cost from $70 to $130, while Scotty McCreery’s concert ranges from $49 to $99.
The tribute shows ticket prices go from $25 to $65.
Tickets go on sale for the general public on Friday at 10 a.m. on the Ticketmaster website.
The resort has already announced its line-up for 2026 but has been continually adding new shows over recent months.
