GO trains are now making stops in the Festival City.
Service between Stratford and Toronto began on Monday, with trips running daily all year long.
On weekdays, a train will depart from the Shakespeare Street station at 6:16 a.m. and arrive at Union Station at 8:47 a.m.
Return trips will leave Union Station at 4:52 p.m., and arrive in Stratford at 7:28 p.m.
GO Transit said those trains will stop in Kitchener, Guelph, Acton, Georgetown, Mount Pleasant, Brampton and Bramalea.
On weekends, trains will depart from Union Station at 8:49 a.m. and arrive in Stratford at 11:16 a.m.
Return trips will leave Stratford at 4:16 p.m. and pull into Union Station at 8:45 p.m.
GO Transit said they would stop in Kitchener, Guelph, Mount Pleasant, Brampton, Bramalea and at Bloor GO.
Buying tickets
Unlike other GO stations, PRESTO is not available in Stratford and paper tickets cannot be purchased at ticket vending machines.
They are can only be bought online.
Children under the age of 12 can ride for free on GO Transit.
