Up to six people are recovering from knife wounds after a fight broke out during a party in an Etobicoke park early Saturday morning.

The fight occurred in Colonel Samuel Smith Park, near Lake Shore Boulevard West and Kipling Avenue, at about 1 a.m.

Police said six people suffered knife wounds, and at least one of the victims suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

A Toronto EMS spokesperson said five males suffered slash and stab wounds, while a sixth male - a 14-year-old boy - was taken to hospital likely due to over intoxication.

About 10 people were involved in the fight, the EMS spokesperson told CP24.

Police continue to investigate as they try to figure out how many people should be charged.
