A video depicting a wayward raccoon stuck inside the roof of an east London home is going viral on social media.

On Oct. 12, a chubby raccoon was discovered stuck inside a hole in a porch roof at a home located on William Street.

The video was shared online by Forest City Wildlife, a local wildlife removal company.

In the now-viral video, a worker tells the trapped critter, “Alright buddy, hang on!” and throws a rope to the raccoon.

After several attempts, the raccoon successfully grabs onto the rope before the worker gently pulls it out.

The raccoon jumps down from the ladder and then runs away unharmed.

The company says the video has been viewed online more than 12 million times.
