Health Canada has issued a recall on multiple Aloxxi hair products missing mandatory hazard labelling and packaging.
The recall notice published on Monday warns customers to “immediately stop using” the recalled products and contact Aloxxi International Corporation or your local distributor to request a label to be sent based on the product that you purchased.
The affected products include:
- Aloxxi – Bombshell – Shine Mist, 43 g/50 ml, 846943006811
- Aloxxi – Bombshell – Shine Mist, 184 g/215 ml, 846943006828
- Aloxxi – Bombshell – Volume, Grip & Hold Spray, 43 g/50 ml, 846943005913
- Aloxxi – Bombshell – Volume, Grip & Hold Spray, 184 g/215 ml, 846943005906
- Aloxxi – Dry Shampoo, 37 g/59 ml, 846943004336
- Aloxxi – Dry Shampoo 127 g/203 ml, 846943006774
- Aloxxi – Firm Hold Hairspray 258 g/300 ml, 846943002721
- Aloxxi – Light Weight Sculpting Wax 170 g/ 179 ml, 846943004350
- Aloxxi – Light Weight Sculpting Wax 170 g/179 ml, 846943700771
- Aloxxi – Strong Hold Mousse, 190 g/198 ml, 846943004367
The recalled products do not have mandatory hazard labelling and fail to meet the Cosmetic Regulations in Canada. The products are missing the required hazard symbols and the signal words on the front of the containers.
Improper labelling could result in misuse of the products and lead to serious injury.
The company reported that 794 units of the affected products were sold in Canada between September 2024 to September 2025.
As of Oct. 16, 2025, Aloxxi International has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.
Health Canada reminds consumers to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form.
