Police say a 35-year-old woman is facing a laundry list of charges after a chaotic drive through Dauphin, Man., where she allegedly struck a vehicle and a stop sign, resisted arrest, threatened police and pulled the fire alarm once inside a jail cell.
Mounties say the incident began Monday at around 8:30 p.m. Police got numerous calls about an alleged impaired driver who was seen leaving a business on 1st Avenue Northeast.
Police were told a woman was denied service at a liquor vendor. She fled in her truck and began driving erratically, officers said, entering a parking lot where she hit a parked vehicle, which then struck another.
Officers say she then drove to another business, onto the lawn, and over an Internet box, which caused an outage in the city.
She continued onto another business, driving over its lawn. Police say she narrowly missed a telephone pole before the vehicle was immobilized near the corner of Jackson Street and 1st Street Southwest.

The driver was arrested at the scene and police say she was impaired.
She was the only person inside the vehicle.
The suspect was taken to the Dauphin RCMP detachment, where she provided breath samples that police say were over the legal limit.
While in custody, police allege she threatened officers and another prisoner. Once inside the cell, Mounties say she pulled the fire alarm.
A 35-year-old woman from Ochre River, Man., faces a slew of charges, including operation while impaired, dangerous operation of a conveyance and uttering threats.
Mounties thanked the numerous people who called 911 after witnessing the dangerous driving.
The investigation continues.
None of the allegations have been tested in court.
