Mounties in B.C.’s Okanagan are appealing for information after a man was found dead on Christmas Day.
Officers with the Lake Country RCMP were called to the 16000 block of Gatzke Road around 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 25, according to police.
“Upon arrival, police learned that 43-year-old Joseph Robert McCook was deceased and foul play is suspected,” a statement from the RCMP’s Southeast District Major Crime Unit said.
Authorities have released McCook’s photo in an attempt to advance the investigation, along with an appeal for witnesses and information.
“Police are looking for public assistance in determining the circumstances that led to Joseph’s death,” the statement from the RCMP said.
