A youth is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after being attacked by three dogs in Welshtown, N.S., according to police.
The RCMP, EHS and firefighters all responded to a property in the 100 block of Upper Sandy Cove Road around 5:10 p.m. Saturday.
Police say three “large-breed” dogs attacked the youth while they were riding their bicycle past the property.
The youth sustained life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to hospital in Halifax.
The dogs involved in the incident have all been euthanized by a veterinarian.
Police say the investigation is ongoing and they won’t be releasing any additional details at this time.
