Brockville police say a 30-year-old man was charged for committing an indecent and being nude in a public place on Monday.

According to a press release from the Brockville Police Service, a man was seen “running around the police station in a state of undress.”

Police say the man was ultimately located between the police station and the nearby railway tracks. The individual was taken into custody without incident.

“Police are aware that images of this incident have been captured and shared on social media. While we understand public curiosity in unusual events, members of the community are reminded to use social media responsibly,” police wrote.

“Sharing images or commentary related to police incidents particularly before matters are resolved through the court process can contribute to misinformation, impact the dignity of those involved, and raise privacy concerns.”
