A Cambridge, Ont., man is facing more than 30 charges as part of an ongoing investigation into child exploitation and sexual assault.
Investigators worry there could be more victims who have yet to come forward to police.
The investigation by the Waterloo Regional Police Service began in 2022, but Justin Garzon was not arrested until Aug. 20, 2025. At that time, 20 charges were laid:
- Five counts of luring a child
- Two counts of invitation to sexual touching
- Three counts of making child sexual abuse material
- Four counts of possessing child sexual abuse material
- Two counts of distributing child sexual abuse material
- Four counts of making explicit material available to a child
Child sexual abuse material charges were formerly referred to using the term “child pornography.”
“The investigation revealed that the accused had engaged in online communications with child victims over multiple years and [he] had distributed and collected illicit content over various online platforms,” a media release said.
Police said Garzon used a number of aliases, including Justin Alexander Garzon, Ziggy, Xavier Kain, GatsbyASMR and GatsbyNSFW. He allegedly used the name Egsneakyboi on TikTok and Dad748392 on Snapchat, as well as a variety of nicknames on Kik: AlexMrDaddy, AlexDadDepraved, DaughtLove, famlover5, incstlvr5 and Johnnymiracle.
“Members of the [Waterloo Regional Police Service’s] Cybercrime Unit believe there may be additional adult and child victims,” they said.
More allegations were made and, in November 2025, new charges were laid against Garzon. They were:
- Assault
- Sexual assault
- Assault (strangulation) causing bodily harm
- Uttering threats to cause death
- Voyeurism
- Distributing intimate images without consent
The Brantford Police Service also charged him with sexual assault and assault causing bodily harm.
Police promised to keep investigating new claims, and on Jan. 7 they announced eight additional charges for Garzon:
- Luring a child
- Sexual interference
- Sexual assault cause bodily harm
- Make sexually explicit material available to a child
- Agree and/or arrange to commit a sexual offence against a child
- Make child sexual abuse and exploitation material
- Possess child sexual abuse and exploitation material
- Make available child sexual abuse and exploitation material
Garzon remains in custody pending a bail hearing.
Waterloo Regional Police, once again, made a plea for victims to reach out to investigators at 519-570-9777, ext. 8397 or ext. 8264, as well as Victim Services at (519) 585-2363 or www.vswr.ca.
The Peel Regional Police Service, Royal Canadian Mounted Police and Interpol have also been involved in the investigation.
