Dozens of cosmetic products have been recalled in Canada due to missing hazard labelling, according to a notice on Health Canada’s website posted Thursday.
The notice is an expansion of an earlier recall first published in October. It now includes 78 different products, many of which are sprays such as mousse, dry shampoo or deodorant, including the popular men’s body spray Axe.
“These products do not meet the Cosmetic Regulations in Canada. Specifically, the products do not have mandatory hazard labelling,” the notice read.
“The products are missing required hazard symbols, signal words on the front of the containers and safety information. Improper labelling could result in misuse of the product and lead to serious injury.”
As of Monday, there have been no reported incidents or injuries in relation to any of the affected products, according to the notice.
The recalled products were all sold by Toronto-based wholesaler Magic BM Trading Co. Ltd, according to the notice. The company reported that 3,203 units of the affected products were sold in Canada between 2024 and December 2025, Health Canada said.
“Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Magic BM Trading Co. Ltd products and return them to the place of purchase for a refund,” the notice read.
