An 18-year-old man was charged in connection with a stabbing Friday outside Henry Wise Wood High School.
Friday around 2 p.m., a 16-year-old male was stabbed while on a parked bus outside the high school on 75 Ave. S.W.
He was transported to hospital in serious condition but has been upgraded to stable.
A 15-year-old student described the afternoon incident to CTV News as ‘something crazy’.
““He was on the ground, there was a bunch of police officers, his hands were covered in blood, there was blood on grass,” he said.
“They got a police helicopter (and) that was pretty unnerving, too. ”(There were) a bunch of police cars there it was really something crazy to see,” he added. “It was definitely something I wouldn’t want to see again.”

Brayden Calliou, 18 was charged with one count of aggravated assault, one count of carrying a concealed weapon and one count of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
Calliou has been remanded into custody. He’s scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 23.
Investigators believe the stabbing was a targeted attack as a result of a dispute between the two teenagers.
