Twenty-three people were rescued after being stranded on ice north of Owen Sound in Georgian Bay.
Grey Bruce OPP reported the incident on Sunday afternoon. The group was on ice that separated from shore, moved by the wind and water currents about two kilometres away.

Minor injuries, including hypothermia, were sustained OPP said, but all are expected to fully recover.
Two OPP helicopters responded and saved the group, with help from many surrounding emergency services. Cobble Beach Golf Course opened up for responders to bring the people to safety.
