This is the most expensive home for sale in Ottawa

A home in Ottawa’s Beacon Hill North area has been listed for sale at $9.9 million. CTV’s Dylan Dyson reports.

A seven-bedroom, five-bathroom home in Ottawa’s Rothwell Heights neighbourhood is currently the most expensive home on the market in the capital.

According to the listing on Lacharity Luxury Real Estate, the home on Delong Drive is for sale at $9,999,995.

“This extraordinary custom-built residence is a statement in modern design and uncompromising craftsmanship,” says the listing.

In a video posted on TikTok, brokerage owner Chris Lacharity says, “This house, obviously, speaks for itself in many ways.”

The two-storey, single-family home with a living area of 5,000 sq. ft. has an elevator, an attached garage and a total of 16 parking spaces.

Lacharity says there are “views galore” from the home, including of the Gatineau Hills.

The home also has a “cinema-quality home theatre,” features a sauna, a covered exterior hot tub, a “professionally designed” fitness centre, a state-of-the-art golf simulator, and an enclosed sports court.

The home is located near Ski Hill Park in Ottawa’s east end.

The most expensive property on the market in Ottawa is Stone Ayr in Dunrobin, a $15 million estate. The 60-acre waterfront estate has six bedrooms, a three-bedroom guest house, a guest cottage, an indoor saltwater swimming pool and a pole barn.

According to the real estate website Redfin, the most expensive home sold in Ottawa over the past two years was $5 million. A five-bedroom, six-bathroom home on Grandview Road along the Ottawa River was sold in August 2025.

A home on Winding Way sold for $4.6 million in August 2025.

Redfin says a home sold on Crescent Heights in Ottawa for $4.5 million on March 11, 2026. The home has five bedrooms and four bathrooms.
