Health Canada has announced a recall for deodorant and anti-perspirant body sprays due to missing mandatory hazard labelling, resulting in not meeting the Cosmetic Regulations in Canada.
“The products are missing required hazard symbols, signal words on the front of the containers and safety information,” the recall notice posted on Friday said. “Improper labelling could result in misuse of the product and lead to serious injury.”
