Former Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau was spotted taking in fellow Canuck Justin Bieber at Coachella, repping a Montreal Alouettes hat with his girlfriend Katy Perry on Saturday night.
“Heat checkin’ these chickens,” said Perry, 41, on Instagram with a video of her and Trudeau, 54, swaying to Bieber’s “Speed Demon” at the annual California music festival.
The Alouettes commented on the post saying “love the [hat] choice.”
“We have to get you some merch too @katyperry,” the Als said.
The comments section is full of users’ praise for the couple.
“As a Canadian, I love this love story so much,” wrote one user.
The pop-singer/politician couple became an official thing in October. They have since been spotted at the World Economic Forum, skiing, with the former Japanese prime minister and elsewhere.
Justin Trudeau’s brother, Alexandre, told The Canadian Press last month that the former prime minister was “super happy” and “falling in love” with Katy Perry. He had the opportunity to meet the singer when her relationship with Justin Trudeau became more serious.
