Police say two youths are facing charges for allegedly damaging a business and stealing a truck in Bible Hill, N.S., last Tuesday.

Colchester County District RCMP responded to a report of a break and enter that happened at a manufacturing business overnight on Park Street.

Officers responded and found “significant damage” to multiple buildings.

Police say the damage included smashed windows and destroyed fixtures as well as damage to tools and equipment inside.

It is estimated the damages cost hundreds of thousands of dollars and the business had to close temporarily for repairs.

A Dodge Ram was also reported as stolen from the property.

Police say they identified two youths associated to the theft and damage and they were reportedly with the stolen truck in Halifax.

Halifax Regional Police officers arrested the youths and recovered the truck in downtown Halifax later that same day.

The RCMP says the youths are under the legal driving age and will face charges related to property crime offences.

They were released on conditions, pending future appearances in court.

Police say anyone with further information on the case should call them at 902-893-6820 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
