A fourth person is facing charges in connection with the death of a Smiths Falls, Ont., man, whose remains were found at a property near the community last fall.
Robbie Thomson went missing in October 2023.
Ontario Provincial Police said officers executed a search warrant at a residence on Kelly Jordan Road on Oct. 30, 2025, and human remains were located at the property. The remains were identified as Thomson, who was 34 years old at the time of his disappearance.

Last October, the OPP charged three people with first-degree murder. The three were Christopher Fenton, 48, of Montague Township; Erin Mackie, 40, of Montague Township; and Joshua Belfiori, 34, of Kingston.
On Wednesday, the OPP said Mark Fenton, 42, of Smiths Falls was charged on Tuesday with accessory after the fact of murder. Fenton is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.
Police say officers with the Lanark County OPP branch continue to investigate.
“The OPP will maintain a presence at the residential property on Kelly Jordan Road in Montague Township, near Smiths Falls, as part of the ongoing investigation,” the OPP said.
