A two-year-old child, who was fighting for their life after being airlifted to a trauma centre following a fatal crash, is now in stable condition, according to police.
Authorities say the child along with two other passengers in the vehicle were airlifted to a Toronto trauma centre with life-threatening injuries after the crash that killed a six-year-old boy on Sunday in Mulmur.
Police are still looking for help from the public in finding any witnesses to the crash that involved a vehicle with six people inside and a pickup truck with one lone driver.
The outcome for the two other passengers is not yet known. The rest of the passengers involved in the crash were sent to a local hospital with unknown injuries.
Investigators are looking for anyone who may have seen the crash or have dashcam footage from the area.
The crash happened at County Road 17 and County Road 19 (Prince of Wales Road) at around 1:30 p.m. on Sunday.
