Montreal police were at Dorval train station on April 24, 2026 after two men were stabbed inside.

The Dorval terminus, its tunnel, as well as the north and south ticket kiosks, are closed after two men were found with stab wounds early Friday morning.

Montreal police (SPVM) received a 911 call at 5 a.m. about a man lying on the ground on Cardinal Avenue near McMillan Boulevard, not far from Gare Dorval and the Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport.

“When officers arrived at the scene, they quickly located a 32-year-old man with upper-body injuries, possibly caused by a sharp object,” said Anne-Sophie Simard, a spokesperson with Montreal police.

The man was transported to hospital in a conscious state, and his injuries are not considered to be life-threatening.

“While police were establishing a security perimeter, they discovered a second man, aged 23, also injured, possibly by a sharp object, to the lower body,” said Simard.

The second victim was also transported to hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

“At this time, it’s unclear whether the two incidents are related,” said Simard, adding that no arrests have been made.

She notes that a “wide security perimeter” has been established to determine the cause and circumstances surrounding the two stabbings.

As a result, the Dorval Terminus, its tunnel and its north and south kiosks have been blocked off to the public.

Exo not stopping at Dorval

Exo confirmed to CTV News that due to the ongoing police operation, trains on the Vaudreuil–Hudson (11) line “are not making any stops at Dorval at this time.”

“This disruption is of indefinite duration,” it said. “The Dorval station and terminus are also closed to the public during the operation.”

Exo notes that riders can still access the Vaudreuil-Hudson line from the Pine Beach or Lachine stations.

“From the Dorval area, you can take STM bus routes 211 and 411 to Pine Beach station,” it said. “Additionally, STM bus routes 195 and 198 remain available for travel to nearby destinations.”

Exo adds that inspectors have been deployed to assist passengers during the disruption.

For its part, the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) says its services have not been affected by the incident.
