Transport Canada says a Toyota recall involving certain vehicle models was republished in error.
The recall notice was posted on Transport Canada first in August 2012 and later updated last Friday.
A spokesperson for Transport Canada said in an email to CTVNews.ca that an administrative update to the recall database “database inadvertently triggered a republishing to Health Canada’s Recalls and Safety Alerts website, where it was misinterpreted as a new recall.”
