The passengers were oil-and-gas workers headed to Grande Prairie. Their departure location is unknown.
RCMP officers at the scene confirmed the bus veered off the road into the ditch, and flipped back onto the road as it rolled over.
Alcohol, speed and weather are not considered factors.
The highway was closed between Range Roads 90 and 92.
