A provincial park in Squamish, B.C., remains closed Sunday, as a search for two missing paddleboarders continues.

Police and rescue crews were called to Murrin Park Saturday afternoon after two people fell off their boards in Browning Lake and “failed to resurface,” the Squamish RCMP said in a statement.

The search effort is being aided by an RCMP helicopter, local volunteer rescue crews, the local fire department, and provincial park rangers.
