You can enjoy a cheesy, fried dough treat at BeaverTails locations this summer.
BeaverTails and Kraft Dinner Canada are teaming up for two exclusive menu items — the KD Takeover BeaverDog and the KD Takeover Poutine.
“Some partnerships just feel meant to be,” BeaverTails said in a statement.
“KD Takeover is a special crossover that brings together two Canadian favourites that generations grew up with, turning familiar comfort food into something new and unique.”
The KD Takeover BeaverDog is an all-beef hot dog wrapped in a BeaverTail pastry, topped with Kraft Dinner and finished with ketchup.

“Familiar, fun, and somehow exactly right,” BeaverTails said.
The KD Takeover Poutine is a loaded poutine topped with creamy Kraft Dinner, crispy bacon, and chives.

“Cheesy, savoury, and finished with just the right crunch,” the company said.
The KD Takeover BeaverDog and KD Takeover Poutine will be available at participating BeaverTails locations until Aug. 9.
“This is truly a celebration of Canadian classics,” said Tina Serrao, creative director at BeaverTails.

“Both BeaverTails and KD are instantly recognizable to Canadians, and so many of us have memories tied to them. KD Takeover brings those familiar favourites together in a way that feels fresh, fun, and very BeaverTails.”
