Funeral services are being finalized for two paramedics who died in an ambulance crash near the Confederation Bridge last week.
Mike MacKenzie, 56, and Jenna Croucher, 23, died on July 7 when their ambulance collided with a transport truck in Melrose, N.B.

A patient, 77-year-old Anne Martell, was also killed.
RCMP said they believe the westbound ambulance collided head-on with the truck on Route 16.

Medavie Health Services says funeral services and processions for Croucher and MacKenzie are scheduled for Friday in Charlottetown.
A regimental funeral will be held at the Delta Prince Edward for Croucher at 10 a.m. and for MacKenzie at 2 p.m.
Both services will be livestreamed on the Island EMS Facebook page for those who can’t attend in person.
Croucher’s procession will depart the hotel at around 11:40 a.m.
A funeral mass is scheduled at St. Dunstan’s Basilica at 4 p.m. for MacKenzie.
Island EMS says his procession will begin at around 5:30 p.m. following the service.

The procession will move along University Avenue from Province House to the Charlottetown Mall.
“We thank Islanders and all members of our communities for the outpouring of support shown to Jenna’s and Mike’s families, friends, colleagues, and loved ones during this difficult time,” reads a social media post from Island EMS.
“Together, we will honour their memory and recognize the profound impact they had on our profession and the people they served.”

Croucher and MacKenzie’s remains were escorted by a procession of emergency vehicles last Friday from Saint John, N.B., across the Confederation Bridge and home to the Island.
