Police say the body of a 50-year-old man was found in a Halifax recycling facility on Wednesday.
Officers responded to the report of the body at a facility on Chain Lake Drive around 2:20 p.m.
They learned the body arrived at the facility in a truck that collected materials from commercial containers around Bayers Lake and Halifax on Wednesday morning, according to a police news release.
An autopsy confirmed the deceased is a man from Halifax.
“Further details are still under investigation including the cause and manner of death but at this time the death is not believed to be suspicious,” the release reads.
