The Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) said a collision involving a pedestrian and a light rail train in Waterloo has resulted in the death of a woman.
According to police, the incident happened Saturday around 11:20 p.m. near Dutton Drive.
Officers found an adult woman when they arrived on scene.
“Life-saving measures were attempted; however, the female was pronounced deceased at the scene,” WRPS said in a media release.
As a result of an investigation, no charges have been laid.
