More than $366K seized in illegal online cannabis distribution network take down: OPP

The OPP has taken down an illegal online cannabis distribution network in Windsor.

In July 2026, police launched an investigation into an illegal online cannabis distribution operation, referred to as ‘420 Highway’.

Investigators said the operation was reportedly supplying and distributing illegal cannabis products from multiple locations in Windsor, without the necessary authorization from the Alcohol and Faming Commission of Ontario or Health Canada.

On Sept. 2, OPP, alongside the Windsor police, executed three search warrants at two homes and a storage facility in Windsor.

Seized items included:

  • Dried cannabis
  • Cannabis concentrates
  • Hash
  • Edible cannabis products
  • Vape products
  • Cannabis packaging equipment
  • Contraband tobacco products
  • $24,000 in Canadian cash

The total value of items seized is over $366,000.

A 28-year-old Sarnia man, a 42-year-old Windsor man, a 57-year-old Windsor man, and 41-year-old Windsor man are facing multiple drug-related charges.
