Ontario Lottery and Gaming says one lucky person could be the winner of a $40 million Lotto Max jackpot prize, but they have to act fast.
According to the gaming corporation, the winning ticket was purchased somewhere in Ontario’s Grey County region last year.
The winning area includes Owen Sound, Meaford, The Blue Mountains, Flesherton, Markdale, Durham, and Hanover.
The ticket was part of a Lotto Max draw dating back to Oct. 28, 2025 and has yet to be claimed.
The winning numbers for that specific LOTTO MAX draw are 06, 14, 17, 19, 26, 43, 45 with bonus number 27.
The pressure is on however, as OLG says the ticket will expire if a winner does not come forward by Oct. 28, 2026.
“As Grey County is a popular destination for tourists and cottagers, someone visiting the area may have purchased the ticket and forgotten to check it after returning home,” the gaming corporation says.
Those who believe they may have are encouraged to check the OLG app for visit the unclaimed tickets website.
“OLG has very detailed information about this winning ticket. However, because the ticket was purchased at a lottery retailer, we don’t know the identity of the person or group that purchased it,” OLG says.
“As with all OLG prize claims, a review process is conducted to determine the rightful ownership of the ticket,” the company warns.
