A 19-year-old taxi cab driver in Kenora, Ont., has been charged in connection with a sexual assault that took place while he was on duty.
Officials are also concerned there could be other victims.
Ontario Provincial Police said in a news release Oct. 9 that the investigation began Oct. 3 when officers received a report of an incident involving a driver with a local taxi company in Kenora.
The suspect has been charged with sexual assault. The attack took place overnight Oct. 2-3 and the suspect was arrested around noon Oct. 4, police said in an email to CTV News.
Police are requesting that anyone who may have additional information or believes that they were a victim of a similar circumstance to contact the Kenora OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
