A teen is in hospital in critical condition following a shooting in East York late Monday afternoon.
It happened near Dentonia Park and Thyra aveneus, just northwest of Danforth and Victoria Park avenues, at around 6 p.m.
According to police, the 17-year-old victim, who lives in the neighbourhood, was shot in the neck at close range.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting were not immediately clear, but police said the incident does not appear to be random.
Police are currently looking for two suspects seen leaving the area shortly after the shooting.
Both suspects were seen wearing either fur-trimmed jackets or hoodies. There was no immediate information provided by police on the gender or age of the two suspects.
Police continue to investigate.
