TORONTO - Elections Ontario is going after voters who have posted photos of their ballot on social media.

The agency is sending them messages asking them to take down the images, which contravene the Elections Act.

The law prohibits people from using a communications device such as a phone inside a polling station or displaying ballots.

A spokeswoman for Elections Ontario says, so far, only a few people have been contacted and it's unclear whether any further action will be taken.
