Spotify reveals Canada’s top-streamed artists, songs and albums of 2025

Spotify has revealed Canada’s most-played artists, songs and albums of 2025 as part of its annual Wrapped campaign.

According to the audio streaming platform, Toronto’s very own Drake topped the list of the most-streamed artists in Canada of the year, followed by Taylor Swift, Morgan Wallen, The Weeknd and Kendrick Lamar.

Canadian artists The Weeknd and Drake also took the number three and four spots on the top global artists of 2025 list, behind number-one ranked Bad Bunny and second-place Taylor Swift. With 19.8 billion streams, Bad Bunny held the top spot for the fourth time after previously earning the title in 2020, 2021 and 2022.

The top-streamed song in Canada in 2025 was “Ordinary” by American singer-songwriter Alex Warren, followed by “Die With A Smile” by Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars.

American country music star Morgan Wallen’s I’m the Problem was the most-streamed album in Canada of the year, followed by the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack and SOS Deluxe: LANA by SZA.

Spotify also saw a surge of interest in Francophone music in 2025, with a 20 per cent listening increase in Quebec and an 11 per cent jump across Canada. The top French-Canadian song in 2025 was “Feel Good” by pop songstress Charlotte Cardin while rock band Les Cowboys Fringants claimed the top Francophone artist spot.

Spotify’s annual Wrapped campaign compiles data like users’ most-played artists, songs and albums. Here’s what was listened to the most in Canada and around the world in 2025.
