Filmed in Sudbury, Ont., the hockey-themed comedy saw its ratings increase by 36 per cent in Season 5 compared to Season 4. Filming of the next season begins this fall.

“Season 5, which saw Shoresy and the Bulldogs fight to protect the North American game, just concluded and is available for streaming on Crave,” a news release dated Jan. 22.

“Since premiering on Christmas Day 2025, Season 5 of Shoresy has become the most-watched season of the series on Crave, delivering a 36 per cent increase in audience over Season 4.”

As the renewal is being announced, the cast is wrapping up the show’s eight-city North American hockey tour, the Shoresy Classic, where the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs face off against NHL alumni teams.

It has seen sales of more than 65,000 tickets, with stops this week in Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver selling out entirely.

Shoresy is created by and stars Jared Keeso as Shoresy. The series is produced by New Metric Media in association with Play Fun Games.
