Maritimers won’t be rocking out to the Goo Goo Dolls in person next weekend.

“We are very disappointed and can’t wait to get back to Canada as soon as possible,” read the statement.

The Goo Goo Dolls were slated to play at Scotiabank Centre in Halifax on Friday and at the Avenir Centre in Moncton on Saturday – the final two stops of the Canadian leg of the tour.

The band recently cancelled three shows in Ontario due to illness.

Anyone with tickets to the remaining shows will be refunded at the point of purchase.
