The Barenaked Ladies, Alessia Cara and Isabelle Boulay will headline Canada’s birthday celebrations in Ottawa.
Canadian Heritage and Minister of Canadian Identity and Culture Marc Miller unveiled the lineup for Canada Day programming on July 1.
The Canada Day noon show will be at LeBreton Flats Park. The lineup for the Canada Day noon show was not announced.
“The national noon ceremony will kick off the celebrations. Get ready to experience an inspiring and unifying moment, with local artists and grandiose tributes,” Canadian Heritage said.

Canada Day celebrations will wrap up with the Tim Hortons Canada Day fireworks at 10 p.m.
“On July 1, Canadians from coast to coast to coast are invited to celebrate in their own communities, as well as in the heart of Canada’s Capital Region,” Canadian Heritage said in a statement.
“Wherever we are, Canada Day remains a unique opportunity to come together, create precious memories and proudly show our colours.”
Canada Day festivities will also be held on Parliament Hill, in front of the Supreme Court of Canada building and in Old Hull.
The festivities on Parliament Hill include the music of the Ceremonial Guard, the Royal Canadian Air Force pipes and drums, and a demonstration by the Snowbirds from 4 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
