Drake is sorry he victimized anyone named Janice by his song, Janice STFU.
The Toronto-born rapper appears to be so apologetic, that he wants to make amends to everyone named Janice by throwing an exclusive party for them – after they can prove it by showing government-issued IDs.
“All my Janice’s in NY, LA, MIA, TO, HOU, look out for my invitation for Sunday,” he wrote on his Instagram story, referring to New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Toronto and Houston.
A box full of letters seemingly addressed to multiple Janices can be seen in the video on his social media.

So, how does it work?
Multiple outlets are reporting that anyone expecting to attend this exclusive event will have to first show their ID to prove that their first name – not nickname, middle name or last name – is Janice.
Drake’s hit single Janice STFU from his newest album ICEMAN debuted at No. 1 on Billboard Global 200 and U.S. Billboard Hot 100, breaking the rapper’s tie with legendary pop star Michael Jackson, to crown him the male solo artist with the most No. 1 hits on record. The track was Drake’s 14th chart-topper.
It was also a part of a surprise triple-album drop – ICEMAN, Habibti, and Maid of Honour. More than 40 songs from the release scored a spot on the Hot 100 – including Maid of Honour and Habibti which debuted at the top of the Billboard Global 200.
For the triple-album release, Drake “froze” the CN Tower, a reference to ICEMAN.
Meanwhile, according to multiple media outlets, the party in Toronto is supposed to be slated for this Sunday at Cactus Club.
CTVNews.ca has reached out to Cactus Club for comment but did not hear back in time for publication. This story will be updated if there is additional information.
