Canadian comedian Jim Carrey is a husband again.
The actor, known for his roles in “The Mask” and “Ace Ventura: Pet Detective,” recently married his girlfriend Min Ah in a small, private ceremony in Los Angeles, multiple outlets, including TMZ and People, reported Wednesday.
“I love you, Min Ah,” Carrey, 64, said in French while accepting an honorary award at the 51st César Awards in Paris on Feb. 26, calling her a “sublime companion.”
“You are an angel,” the actor said of Ah, 32.
The couple was seen together in 2022, but it wasn’t until the Césars seven months ago that they made their relationship public, accompanied by Carrey’s family.
“Thank you to my wonderful family … my daughter Jane and my grandson Jackson. I love you. I love you now and forever,” Carrey said during his speech.
“And finally, thank you to the funniest man I have ever known, my father ... who taught me the value of love, generosity and laughter.”
Carrey was married to Melissa Womer between 1987 and 1995. The pair share a daughter, Jane Erin Carrey, who was born the same year they were married.
He was also married “Dumb and Dumber” co-star Lauren Holly in 1996, but they divorced one year later.
From 1999 to 2000, Carrey was engaged to “Me, Myself and Irene” co-star Renée Zellweger. Years later, in his 2020 semi-autobiographical novel “Memoirs and Misinformation,” he called her his “last great love.”
He also had romantic relationships with actors January Jones and Jenny McCarthy, and has opted to keep his private life out of the public eye.
Decades-long career
In the ′70s, at age 15, Carrey got his start performing stand-up comedy in downtown Toronto. He went on to star in the sketch-comedy series “In Living Color” before appearing in major Hollywood films.
He won two Golden Globe awards in the late ‘90s for his roles in “The Truman Show” and “Man on the Moon.”
Carrey, set to star in the upcoming “Sonic the Hedgehog 4,” told Access Hollywood in 2022 that he was “fairly serious” about retiring from acting.
“I have enough. I’ve done enough. I am enough,” he said at the time.
