Investigators have released surveillance camera footage of a suspect who allegedly attempted to steal a purse from an employee of a Yorkville art gallery last month.
Toronto Police say that at 8:35 a.m. on Oct. 26, a man entered the Odon Wagner Gallery on Davenport Road, east of Avenue Road.
He allegedly attempted to steal a purse from an employee at the gallery. When other staff intervened to confront the man, he allegedly assaulted them before fleeing the area.
The suspect is described as a black male with short hair. He was last seen wearing a tan colour coat, a white shirt and tie, with dark pants.
